5 - Koenigsegg Regera

The Koenigsegg Regera is a limited production,plug-in hybrid sports car manufactured by Swedish high-performance sports carmaker Koenigsegg. It was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The name Regera is a Swedish verb, meaning "to reign" or "to rule." Only 80 units will be built, all of which have already been sold, each costing approximately US$1.9 million.

The Regera was created and designed to be a more practical, luxurious, hypercar alternative to the rest of Koenigsegg's lightweight hypercar lineup, including the Agera RS and the One:1. Koenigsegg states that the Regera will be the most powerful and fastest accelerating production car ever. The production of the Regera will result in Koenigsegg, for the first time ever, simultaneously having two models in production.

The Regera will include added insulation to help add to the luxury by reducing cabin noise caused by wind and powertrain noises. Also included as an added luxury item over previous models will be 8-way electrically adjustable memory foam seats. The Regera will also include many new technical features such as a Koenigsegg 9-inch information and entertainment system, a complete camera system with recording capabilities (front, inner, and rear), Apple CarPlay, a new sound system, ambient lighting, and 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. It will also feature front and rear parking sensors.  Regera will also feature active engine mounts for the ICE and transmission to rest on. The engine mounts are designed to stay soft at lower speeds, significantly reducing vibrations and engine noise, adding to the luxury effect of the vehicle. While driving more aggressively or at higher speeds, the engine mounts will firm up, giving greater lateral response to the vehicle.

4 - Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engined two-seated sports car developed and manufactured in Molsheim, France, by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron. The Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1, 2016. The car was based on the Bugatti Vision Grand Turismo concept car.

The car is named after the Monegasque driver Louis Chiron.
The first 200 Chirons were sold before the first delivery of the car. The base price is 2,400,000 (US$2,700,000 at the August 2016 exchange rate), and buyers were required to place a 200,000 (US$226,000 at the August 2016 exchange rate) deposit.

At the 2017 IAA show in Frankfurt, Bugatti announced that the Chiron broke the record of fastest 0–400–0 km/h (0–248.5–0 mph), completing it in 41.96 seconds in a span of 2 miles (3.2 kilometres) at the Ehra-Lessien high-speed oval. The car was driven by Colombian racing driver Juan Pablo Montoya.
Bugatti also added extra livery to the Chiron that they used to confirm that it was the same car that broke 0–400–0 km/h (0–248.5–0 mph) the fastest. During the show, Bugatti also mentioned that during the run, the car went 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 2.4 seconds, 0–200 km/h (0–124 mph) in 6.1 seconds, 0–300 km/h (0–186 mph) in 13.1 seconds, and 0–400 km/h (0–248.5 mph) in 32.6 seconds, which altogether, also makes the Chiron much faster than its predecessor, the Bugatti Veyron.

However, these were in a single direction. World records require passes made in opposite directions to counter the possible effects of wind.

3 - Pagani Huayra BC

The Pagani Huayra (Italian pronunciation: [waira]) is an Italian mid-engined sports car produced by Pagani. Succeeding the company's previous offering, the Zonda, it had a base price of €850,000. It is named after Huayra-Tata, a Quechua wind god. The Huayra was named "The Hypercar of the Year 2012" by Top Gear Magazine and received a very positive review when tested by Richard Hammond on Top Gear. The Huayra was previously the fastest road car to go around the Top Gear Test Tracks, setting a time of 1:13.8, beating the previous record of 1:15.1 set by the Ariel Atom V8 in January 2011, and also placed above other hypercars such as the Aston Martin Vulcan, Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and Pagani Zonda F. It is also unofficially faster around the track than the Ferrari LaFerrari. However, in June 2016, the Huayra was beaten by the Mclaren 675LT that set a record of 1:13.7.
On February 11, 2015 it was reported that the Pagani Huayra has been sold out. The Huayra was limited to just 100 units as part of Pagani's agreement with engine supplier Mercedes-AMG.
Price: US$ 2.800.000.

An even more extreme version called the Huayra BC model debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016. The Huayra BC is named after the late Benny Caiola, a friend of Horacio Pagani, and the first Pagani customer. The Huayra BC has an improved version of the standard Huayra's 6.0 liter V12, twin turbocharged AMG engine, producing 755 PS (555 kW; 745 hp) as well as 1,100 N·m (810 lb·ft) of torque. The dry weight is reduced 132 kg to just 1,218 kg, thanks to a new type of carbon fiber that Pagani claims is 50% lighter and 20% stronger than regular carbon fiber, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 1.62 kg (3.57 lb) per horsepower. Pagani have also fitted the Huayra BC with a lighter titanium exhaust system, new aluminum alloy wheels, and a stripped out interior. The tires are Pirelli P Zero Corsas that feature 12 different rubber compounds, and the suspension and wishbones are made of aeronautical grade aluminum, known as Avional. The Huayra BC also has a new front bumper with a splitter and winglets, deeper side skirts, and an air diffuser that stretches the entire width of the rear bumper, and a massive rear wing. All the components are made of carbon fiber, and are add-ons. The Huayra BC also has changes made to all but one of the body panels to maximize downforce and minimize drag. The Huayra BC uses a next-generation 7-speed manual gearbox, and has an electro-hydraulic actuation. Pagani has stuck with a single-clutch gearbox because it weighs 40% less than double-clutch gearboxes.

2 - Lykan HyperSport

The car also utilizes a holographic display system on the center console with interactive motion features, as well as gold stitching on the seats. There is a discrepancy among sources as to how many cars have been sold, with reports varying from four to seven sales. At least two of the cars have been sold, one to an anonymous buyer, as revealed in a  Youtube video by W Motors, and the Abu Dhabi Police Edition.

1 - Aston Martin Valkyrie AM-RB 001

6 March 2017, Gaydon: The revolutionary hypercar being co-developed by Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, formerly identified by its codename AM-RB 001, has now been officially named the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
The name continues a fine tradition of Aston Martin ‘V’ cars. This began back in 1951 with Vantage, which was selected as a name to distinguish high performance variants of the then current model, the DB2. Boasting 125bhp versus 105bhp for the standard engine, the Vantage represented a significant increase in performance and desirability. The first time the Vantage badge appeared was on the side of the DB5.
Price: US$ 3.9 Million

For Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, Valkyrie perfectly captures the drama of what is not only the ultimate Aston Martin, but the ultimate expression of hypercar design, engineering and performance: “Aston Martin model names have deep meaning. They need to inspire and excite. To tell a story and enrich a narrative that stretches back some 104-years. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is an incredibly special car that demands an equally remarkable name; an uncompromising car that leaves nothing in reserve. The connotations of power and honour, of being chosen by the Gods are so evocative, and so pertinent to a car that only a fortunate few will ever experience.”
